To celebrate here’s a fun tutorial for your scrapbook pages!!
As I was making the page I knew right away what letter stickers I wanted to use for the title.
These ones would be perfect! Sadly though, there was no “e” in the mix. All out 🙁 Well, I could change my title…. not an option, or I could go buy a new set of stickers just for an “e” (Steve would not approve), or hey, don’t I have one of those digital cutty things? The thing that I told Steve would save us lots and lots of $$$ one day. Yup, I do! I love my Silhouette. It really does save me money, and the possibilities are endless with it. Check out there blog here. Some really cool stuff!
Anywho, I made my own glitter stickers with the help of my
Sihouette, Crystal Effects, paint brush and of course glitter.
All you have to do is cut out the word or image you want to be glitterized, paint on Crystal Effects, or any kind of dimensional glaze glue, (CTMH has one called Liquid Glass) over the words/letters. Before it dries dump on the glitter. I found it easier to just dip the whole letter into the glitter canister.
Before any of you are like, hey! Those letters are blue and the title on the page is white….I know. I made the blue ones, and took pictures of the blue ones, and when I placed them on my page, BLAH! I didn’t like it, the glitter was too chunky. So I did the whole thing over again with a finer glitter. That is how simple it is, I did it twice! There ya go!! Here’s to making it work!!

I ended up using the blue chunky glitter over chipboard letters for my title below.
