WIWW – Hunger Games Edition

Share
This past Saturday while the Hubs was working…
My SIL Annie asked if I wanted to go see The Hunger Games movie, AND my brother volunteered to watch M&M while we went. Amazing you say?? Yes, they really are! Even tho I hadn’t read the book yet, I couldn’t turn their offer down.
So away we went on Saturday in the middle of the afternoon, a girls day out!
The theater was packed to the brim. We had armed ourselves with nachos, popcorn, 44 oz Dr. Peppers, Ice Cream “Dips”, a variety of candy, you get the picture…
Hey, I say Go Big or Go Home (wink).
I didn’t know what to expect.
But I found myself crying in the first five minutes into the movie.
And found myself crying lots thru out it.
And in case you didn’t know, crying = good show to me.
And I’m pretty sure I gave myself a bladder infection from holding my pee in till the end of the movie {those blasted 44 oz Dr. Peppers!}
SO worth it tho!!
Have you gone to see it? Did you enjoy it?
THANKS for a fun time out ladies!
And a HUGE thank you to my brother of course!
Love you guys!!
Our friend Amanda, my little sister Desiree, my SIL Annie, and Moi after the movie! Skills with a trash can and the self timer on my camera which was about to die from low battery charge! Woot!!
On our way back to pick up the kiddos
I had my sis snap some pics of me, since
#1. I had taken a shower
#2. I wore something other than my “mommy uniform”
#3. I kinda was on a high after watching the movie (wink)
#4. Sunglasses = perfect solution for my under eye circles!
Tank & Blouse: Sister’s Suitcase, Jeans: Ross, Sunglasses: A buck at Rue21!
Even tho taking pics for WIWW posts are way fun to me, it still feels super un-natural. I’m a little more myself in the everyday kinda pictures like below.
Happy 6 months to our Mia Kate!
I can’t believe you are half a year old! We love you baby girl!
Linkin up here with some lovely ladies. You should too!

  3. I hadn’t read the book and when the movie came out I was like “oh no, not another movie to be obsessed over!” And so I decided to read the books to figure out what all the hype was about. I am now starting the third book and think they’re amazing. Next on my list is to see this movie! Glad you had fun! And hope to share my opinion of the movie with you real soon.

  9. Haven’t read the book or seen the movie. Yet.
I think you look AWESOME in your posed photo shoot. However, I still feeling strange trying to ‘set up a shot’ myself.

  23. I guess you just joined the hundreds of crying movie goers, so that’s okay. Not sure though if holding the pee was okay too. LOL. A lot of touching scenes indeed. And i know why you had to hold the pee – every scene mattered. :)
