Check Mate

Hi there beautiful friends.
Hope you all had a marvelous holiday weekend.

Everything was gung ho and life was grand come Thanksgiving day. #PTL
We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves with family and good food.
More scenes from the day.
 1. Gathering all the leaves 2. Mia snuggling with Gpa 3. Mia running away from us 4. Leaf Fight

1. Turkey anyone 2. Nate made his homemade chicken soup Thanksgiving night 3. Hot chocolate and the movie Brave 4. Late night stroll to pick up the movie
Just putting these pics up make me smile.
It really was such a blessed Thanksgiving.

Then of course the shit hit the fan and it was like the whole world was against us.
I found myself saying {I’m DONE} multiple times this weekend.
Life can suck.
I know this for a fact.
But seriously going from the highest of highs
to one of the lowest lows just took my breath away.
I swear I had to remind myself to breath.
I was not in a good place.
Then more blows, one after another. #wth
Again I was {done}.
Then today
God put me in check. #checkmate

“Ask and ye shall receive”

No seriously friends.
I lifted {it} up.
{It} being everything.
All the assumptions.
All the lies.
All the hurtful feelings.
All the uncertainties.
All the bs.
With everything I could muster.
I lifted it up.
And you know what?
He answered.

In the form of a UPS guy who dropped off a package stating,
“Hope it makes your day!”
In the form of a letter that contained words that touched my heart and soul.
In the form of a sweet sweet package.
It was filled with monetary things.
But each piece. Each item. Meant so much.
So much thoughtfulness and full of love.

A complete “stranger” whom I’ve never met, and never will meet.
He answered through her.

Now I’m just a rambling, babbling, crying fool again.
I don’t know what the future holds,
but I know that I will remember how I felt today.
And it will make all the difference moving forward.
Happy day to you friends.
Make it a good one!
