New year. New me. New you. New goals. One major goal this year is to engage this wonderful blogging community better. What better way than to begin a new link up with some blog friends! Together, the three of us came up with Three Things Thursday. Just three things to talk or write about. Five seemed like too many and “one thing” was like we weren’t even trying! So any three things that are on your mind. Any three pictures from Instagram. Three complaints about your day/week. Three of your favorite treats. Seriously. Any three things! So write it. Publish it. Yell it from the mountain tops! Just be sure you come back and link it up here!
For some extra fun follow us on Instagram for some three things posts!
Use the #threethingsthursday, and let’s start talking!
Today we welcome Kara from Chasing Zoie. Here you will find Kara traveling by land or sea, living the life of a blogger with style, and taking the occasional selfie. Find her on Instagram as @chasingzoie.
This week’s Three Things Thursday:
1. Thank you all so much for the love on yesterday’s post. So sad that people let greed take over their hearts and minds. When someone entrusts something to someone, they do it because they think that’s the best thing. For an outsider to question and manipulate and make up lies for their own personal gain, so sick. This is an ugly chapter happening for our family as a whole, because it’s showing how people we love and trusted would choose money over family values and respect and that is the worst. I thought our family was based on better values and integrity. People are proving us wrong left and right. When all is said and done I will be sharing everything, because it’s not ok what’s taking place and all I can do is hope that God has a bigger plan in mind. Things happen for a reason right? So disheartening though that innocent people are being taking advantage of. I appreciate your continued prayers for our whole family.
2. We enrolled Maggie and Mia into the Dance camp a nearby high school was hosting. Practice was on Monday and Tuesday, and last night was the performance. The girl’s did SO good! This was Maggie’s second time performing in front of a big crowd and Mia’s first. Trust me friends I was taking all the deep breaths. Maggie the night before stopped dancing in the middle of practice and ran off the gym floor and over by me and started crying…. I was so nervous for my little ones last night, but they did AMAZING! I look forward to many more fun adventures as a “dance mom”. It totally felt like it came back full circle a bit, taking me back to when I was on the dance team in high school hosting the camp. All the feels. Any other dance moms out there? At what age did you put your littles into activities?
3. I’ve been stuck with my workout routine the last few weeks. I apologize I haven’t shared my 21 day fix results or Nate’s weight loss results yet! They’re coming! But I did feel like I needed to change up my routine, so I’ve added some cardio the last couple weeks. Thankful for double strollers, best friends who are up for a challenge and our health. How’s your fitness/health journey coming along?
